Beating library solvers by doing less

We love NumPy, SymPy, and other packages for their speed, but generic solvers carry the baggage of generic cases. I’ll demonstrate how hacking your own algorithm, and ignoring what you don’t care about, can sometimes outperform the optimized heavyweights.
