ChiPy __Main__ Meeting


This month's in-person meeting is being hosted by SpotHero! The event will also be livestreamed on YouTube for those unable to attend in person.

The following items are required to attend:

  • An accepted RSVP to the in-person event
  • A legal photo ID
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • A face mask when not eating or presenting

Additionally, if you have been exposed to Covid, or have been ill yourself in the last 14 days, we ask that you stay home and instead enjoy the livestream of the event.

    We love Python at SpotHero. In this talk, attendees will learn all the ways that SpotHero uses Python. Libraries, web services, machine learning, data processing, and more! After an overview of these use cases, the talk concludes with a set of practical suggestions for effective use of Python in different settings.

    The primary goal of the talk is to expand attendees' imaginations around the wide range of use cases that Python can be a good fit for in a consumer-facing company.
